This book is aimed at those who have the need to use, or the interest in using a simple free EDIFACT converter. It describes the internal structure of the converter and will give an overview about the creation of individual backend modules. Reading all that stuff, you may get ideas about what EDIFACT is and how to integrate this little piece of software in a greater environment.
On the other side, this book is not a tutorial to learn the EdIFACT syntax and/or the usage of the different message types and standards. It will only touch the EDIFACT world where it is needed - the main focus is the Tiny Converter itself and its usage.
